Stretch Called up to Houston Again

ONTARIO, Calif.-The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announced that forward C.J. Stretch has been called up to the Houston Aeros of the AHL for the third time this season.

Stretch, 22, has made two appearance in Houston this season, recording two assists in seven games. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound, Irvine, California native leads the Reign in points with 48 (20g, 28a) in 44 games; more than double what he earned with the team last season for a professional career high. Stretch recorded 21 points (9g, 12a) with the Reign in the 2010-11 season.

Reign Drops The Reign's Saturday, Feb. 18 game against the Idaho Steelheads features Fire on Ice IV, a charity match between the Ontario Fire Department and the New York Fire Department, presented by the DoubleTree by Hilton Claremont. The game starts at 2 p.m. and one ticket is good for admission to both games.

The first 3,000 fans in attendance at Saturday's game will receive a Jon Francisco bobblehead, sponsored by Progressive Energy Solutions. The bobbleheads will be handed out starting at the 2 p.m. game, doors open at 1 p.m.

The Reign wrap up their home stand Sunday with a 5 p.m. game against the Steelheads.
