Express Add Ryley Grantham to the Roster

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced today that F Ryley Grantham has been re-assigned to the Chicago Express from the Gwinnett Gladiators by the Calgary Flames (NHL) in exchange for D Josh Burrows.

Grantham, 24, was re-assigned to Chicago by the Calgary Flames (NHL) from the Gwinnett Gladiators. Grantham has played in 40 games with the Gladiators this season and has recorded 87 PIM along with two goals and three assists for five points. The third year pro is in his first season in the ECHL, having spent his first two seasons with the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. With Abbotsford, Grantham played 89 games, earning 202 PIM along with one goal and six assists for seven points. The 6-3, 207 pound forward collected 163 PIM in his rookie season with the Heat, good enough for 33rd in the AHL. He also skated in 14 games with the Utah Grizzlies last season, scoring four goals and one assist while adding 49 penalty minutes.

Burrows played in 43 games with the Express, picking up 11 points (3g,8a) and 25 PIM.
