Storm Suspends Game In Sixth Inning

The Frederick Keys and Potomac Nationals ballgame was suspended due to rain and will Saturday night with the Keys leading 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Frederick had trailed throughout, as the Keys were 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position into the sixth inning. With two on and one out Keys 1B Mark Fleisher hit a three-run home run to push Frederick in front 3-2. For Fleisher it was his third home run of the year but second in as many days.

Keys starter Carlos Perez pitched well allowing two runs in 5 and 2/3rds innings while striking out five.

The game will continue Saturday May 9th at 5:00 p.m. from where it was left off.

Frederick returns home to face the Wilmington Blue Rocks Monday, June 11th at 7:00 p.m. It will be Kids Eat Free Monday presented by Giant Eagle and Military Night brought to you by Comstar Federal Credit Union. All Military personnel, friends and family will receive $2 admission with a valid ID when purchasing at the Keys Box Office.
