South Carolina Stingrays News Release
North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays will take on a new look for the upcoming 2007-08 season, the team announced today.
The Stingrays have changed their logo for next season to reflect the 15 Year Anniversary of hockey in the Low Country. The logo will be featured on the exclusive Season Ticket Holder gifts including the pint glass and commemorative ticket booklet in addition to a third team jersey and selected merchandise.
"We are very excited about the look of the 15th Anniversary Logo," said Stingrays Merchandising Manager, Todd Merton. "Reaching the 15 year mark is a tremendous milestone for any minor league sports franchise, and we wanted to create a design that would commemorate this achievement as well as bring a more modern look to our traditional Stingray mark. I think we accomplished our goal and I'm confident that our fans will like it as well."
