Wildcatters Look to Win First Playoff Series

Beaumont, TX (April 20, 2007) The Texas Wildcatters hold a two games to one lead over the Gwinnett Gladiators in the best of five South Division Semifinals and look to close out the series tonight at 8:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans who enter Ford Arena will receive a Wildcatters rally towel compliments of Domino's Pizza and Hampton Inn.
The 'Catters are coming off a thrilling 5-4 overtime win on Wednesday night that allowed them to take their first lead in the series. Daniel Sparre scored twice including the overtime game winner at 7:02 of the first overtime. Texas is 5-0-0 against the Gladiators at home this season.
The Kelly Cup Playoffs are coming to Southeast Texas for the first time in history. The next Wildcatters home games will be Friday, April 20 at 8:05 p.m. and if necessary on Sunday, April 22 vs. Gwinnett.
