
Stingrays Gameday: Stingrays Open Preseason Series Against Greenville Tonight

North Charleston, SC -The South Carolina Stingrays open a home-and-home preseason series against the Greenville Road Warriors tonight at 7:35 p.m. at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, South Carolina. Catch all the action live at www.stingrayshockey.com . The series wraps up tomorrow, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Carolina Ice Palace in North Charleston. The game is open to season ticket holders only with an open-seating arrangement.
Last season, the Stingrays fell in overtime to the Road Warriors in their lone preseason contest 3-2 in Greenville. Current Stingrays forwards Trent Campbell (1g) and David de Kastrozza (1a) picked up points in the loss.
Mark your calendars! The 2011-12 season kicks off with Opening Weekend and Alumni Weekend on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 against the Reading Royals and Wheeling Nailers at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum. On Friday, the first 5,000 fans receive a 2011-12 Stingrays magnet schedule courtesy of Comcast. Saturday is Military Appreciation Night presented by Force Protection with a pregame Stingrays Alumni game at 2:30.
