
Stingrays Add Defenseman Krelove

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays announced today that the team has signed defenseman Andrew Krelove. In keeping with club policy, details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Krelove, 24, appeared in three games with the Stingrays earlier this season registering one assist. The Thunder Bay, Ontario, native also dressed in 43 games with the Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League grabbing seven goals and 12 assists for 19 points. Currently in his first professional season, Krelove completed a four-year career at Bowling Green State University totaling three goals and 13 assists for 16 points in 141 contests. Prior to joining the NCAA ranks, Krelove spent two seasons with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the United States Hockey League recording 15 points (1g, 14a) in 86 games.
The Stingrays return to action tonight, Wednesday, February 29 against the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:05 p.m. at The Arena at Gwinnett Center.
