Steve Clark Nominated for Etihad Airways MLS Player of the Month

Crew goalkeeper Steve Clark is nominated for Etihad Airways MLS Player of the Month for September after helping the Crew to a 3-0-1 record and allowing just two goals over that span. Clark is the only non-attacking player up for the award, competing against Seattle Sounders FC's Obafemi Martins, LA Galaxy's Landon Donovan, Portland Timbers FC's Diego Valeri and the New England Revolution's Lee Nguyen.

Through 30 matches this season, Clark is fifth in MLS with 94 saves on the campaign. The 28-year-old's eight shutouts are tied for second-most in the League, while his 1.20 goals against average is fifth among MLS goalkeepers with at least 15 appearances.
