Steelheads corral the Stampede

Gary, IN: The Steelheads hosted the Idaho Stampede for the second consecutive night and were looking for some revenge after last night's 96-90 loss. Revenge is what they got, as they won 110-103, capturing 6 points in the process. The Steelheads season total now stands at 111.5 points with 11 games left to play.

The Steelheads jumped out to a 32-24 1st quarter lead on the strength of David Graves who had 11 points. The Steelheads came back to earth in the second quarter, losing 28-19 and trailed at the half 52-51. The second half was all Steelheads as they won the third quarter 31-23 and the fourth quarter 30-28 to pull out a 110-103.

Leading the way for the Steelheads was the "InfinityProSport.com Player of the Game" Shelly Clark who had 28 points on 11 for 19 shooting. Clark also had 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Jemeil Rich had 27 points on 11 for 15 shooting. Rich also dished out 8 assists and grabbed 4 rebounds. David Graves had 26 points. In his first start of the season, Renaldo Major had 15 points. Sam Clancy had 30 points and 11 rebounds for the Stampede.
