
Stearns injured in bicycle mishap

Harrisburg, PA - Senators manager John Stearns was injured in a bicycle mishap on Wednesday afternoon. Stearns sustained a separated shoulder while riding on the West Shore, but was in uniform and in the dugout for Wednesday night's game against the Trenton Thunder.
Stearns will remain with the team while recovering from the injury. Hitting coach Troy Gingrich will coach third base until further notice.
The Senators homestand continues on Thursday night at 6:35 against the Trenton Thunder and then a three-game series beginning on Friday night against the Erie SeaWolves. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Senators at 231-4444 or online at www.senatorsbaseball.com.
