
State Fair Night, Food Specials Highlight Bulls Homestand

DURHAM, NC - The Durham Bulls open a six-game homestand against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Buffalo Bisons on Friday, April 20 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The team's inaugural State Fair Night, Food Truck Friday and $2 Taco Tuesday highlight the promotional schedule.
The homestand begins with the first of three games against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Friday, April 20 at 7:05 p.m. presented by EmergeOrtho. Friday's contest is another Food Truck Friday, as local delicacies Bam Pow Chow! and Rolling Bistro will be on hand serving their food all game long, and following the game is a Friday Night Fireworks show presented by bioMerieux.
On Saturday, April 21 the Bulls will host their annual Negro League Night celebration against the Philadelphia Phillies' top affiliate. For the evening's 6:35 p.m. game the team will don throwback Negro League-style uniforms - all with the number 42 - to pay tribute to the legacy of Durham's local Negro League stars.
The team will hold its inaugural State Fair Night presented by the NC SweetPotato Commission on Sunday, April 22 at 5:05 p.m. against Lehigh Valley. For the celebration the DBAP will host a petting zoo on the Diamond View concourse, offering fans of all ages the chance to pet, feed and take photos with different farm animals. Further, the team will feature a Krispy Kreme burger during the game, with a fried burger patty placed between two Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
The six-game stanza continues on Monday, April 23 at 7:05 p.m. with the first game of a three-game set against the Buffalo Bisons. On Tuesday, April 24 the two teams meet again at 7:05 p.m., with that night's game featuring $2 tacos around the DBAP throughout the evening.
The Bulls close their homestand against the Toronto Blue Jays' Triple-A affiliate at 10:35 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, as the team hosts its first Education Day of 2018.
