Lexington Legends News Release
The Lexington Legends-West Virginia Power game at Applebee's Park June 2 will begin at 10:05 a.m. It was originally scheduled as a night game. The morning starts are Education Day games, which are popular attractions for school groups throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky.
Due to numerous school closings caused by weather and illness, the Legends have changed the June 2 start time to better accommodate school schedules.
"The Legends are proud to be able to make these day games available for students," said Legends box office manager David Barry. "It adds a different experience for fans and players."
Anyone who holds tickets for the June 2 game may exchange them for any other game during the 2010 season. Ticket holders should contact the Legends box office at 859 422-7867. All existing tickets with a printed start time of 7:05 p.m. will be valid for the 10:05 start time.
