
Stars Affiliate Nappier Commits to Ohio State

Lincoln, Neb. - Stars affiliate Tommy Nappier committed to the Ohio State University, he announced on Wednesday.
"I took my visit there earlier this week and thought it was the right fit for me academically...and hockey-wise," Nappier said.
Nappier has posted a 2.20 GAA and .927 SV% through 9 games with the Springfield Jr. Blues in the North American Hockey league.
Prior to playing with the Jr. Blues, Nappier recorded a 1.86 GAA and .925 SV% through 22 games with the St. Louis AAA Blues U-18 squad in the 2014-2015 season.
The Stars drafted Nappier in the 7th round of the 2014 Phase 1 USHL Entry Draft. The 1998 birth year is expected to join the Stars next season.
"I'm very excited," Nappier said of coming to Lincoln. "I think it will be a good fit to get ready for college hockey."
