SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota, February 11, 2011 - Jermareo Davidson had 27 points (12-18 FG) and eight rebounds, Antoine Walker scored 23 points (9-19 FG, 3-7 3FG) and Armon Johnson pitched in with 22 off the bench as the Idaho Stampede (12-19) won their second straight game 125-115 against the Sioux Falls Skyforce (5-23) Friday night. For the second straight game, the Stampede set a season-high in points.
The Stampede shot 52.3 percent from the field for the game - the Skyforce shot 53.2 percent - and scored 38 points in the fourth quarter to pull away with the win as Johnson (11 points) and Walker (10 points) led the attack in the final stanza. The two teams combined to make 22-of-37 shots in the fourth quarter, with the Stampede holding the Skyforce to 0-of-5 from behind the three-point line.
Cedric Jackson had 12 points, eight assists and five rebounds, while Sean Banks had 11 points and Seth Tarver had 10 points off the bench.
Sioux Falls was led by Patrick Ewing Jr., who had 29 points and 16 rebounds, while David Bailey had 25 points and seven assists.
The Stampede finish up the two-game set tomorrow at 7 p.m. The Stampede return home for a Wednesday night game on Feb. 16 against the Bakersfield Jam at 7 p.m. at Qwest Arena.
