Utah Flash News Release

The Utah Flash went on the road against the best team in the D-League, and brought home two wins over the weekend. The Flash topped the 66ers 113-95 tonight inside the Tulsa Convention Center.

Utah got off to a slow start, trailing 14-7 early in the first quarter, but rallied to take a 30-23 lead to end the first quarter. Kevin Kruger, who is returning from a recent ankle injury, had 10 points in the first.

Tulsa would pull it to within one point during the third quarter, but Utah responded and ended the quarter on a 21-7 run to take a 82-67 lead into the final period.

Utah never looked back and went on to win 113-95. The Flash were led by Nkem Ojouboh who had 19 points and 11 rebounds. Kevin Kruger led the way with 21 points, and Brian Hamilton and Ryan Thompson chipped in 17 and 16 points respectively.

Tulsa was led by Byron Mullens who had 18 points and nine rebounds. Each player scored for the 66ers, who have the league's best record.
