Sioux Falls, S.D. (March 3, 2011) - The Idaho Stampede defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce 123-93 at the Sioux Falls Arena on Thursday night. Idaho shot a sizzling 60.9 percent (14-of-23) in the second quarter to break open a close game and hand Sioux Falls their largest margin of defeat this season.

Idaho (16-22) held a slim 34-33 lead after the first quarter but outscored the home team 38-17 in the second quarter to take a convincing 72-50 halftime lead.

Sioux Falls (7-29) continued to struggle from the field in the second half and trailed by as many as 35 points (108-73) in the fourth quarter before settling for a 30-point loss.

Antoine Walker posted a team-high 18 points on 7-of-11 field goals (4-of-6 3-pointers). Portland Trail Blazers assignee Luke Babbitt and Seth Tarver both posted 17 points while Cedric Jackson just missed a double-double with 14 points and nine assists.

Patrick Ewing, Jr. posted game-highs in points (20) and rebounds (10) to lead the Skyforce. David Bailey scored 14 points and Sean Marshall added 13 off the bench.

Sioux Falls begins a seven-game road trip against Austin on Saturday at 12 p.m. CT. Idaho travels to Des Moines to take on Eastern Conference-leading Iowa on Sunday at 3 p.m. MT.
