Green Leads Bighorns Over Ft. Wayne, 118-98

FT. WAYNE, Ind.-Danny Green dropped a season-high 29 points and added a team-high 10 rebounds Friday night, as Reno completed a two-game sweep of Ft. Wayne with a 118-98 win in the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

In a game that was closer than the score would indicate, the Mad Ants kept the score within single digits throughout most of the game. Ft. Wayne trailed by just eight points with two and a half minutes to play, but Reno closed out the game on a 16-4 run to take its second-straight game overall and sweep the four-game season series against the Mad Ants.

Green drained a team-season-high six three-pointers for the 'Horns, who put up 40 points in the final quarter to seal the victory. Donald Sloan scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half, while Patrick O'Bryant added 17 points and eight boards. All five Reno starters scored in double figures for the second-straight night, while Salim Stoudamire helped out with 16 points off the bench.

Chris Kramer paced the Mad Ants with 25 points, while Marvin Phillips chipped in with 14 points and 15 rebounds off the bench.

The Bighorns shot 53.8% from the field on the evening, while holding Ft. Wayne to just 41.0%.

The Bighorns head to Bismarck, N.D., Sunday for a back-to-back road series against the Dakota Wizards. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. PT on Sunday and 5 p.m. PT on Monday evening.
