
Stampede Come up Short against Blue

BOISE, Idaho (December 29, 2015) - The Idaho Stampede fell to the Oklahoma City Blue, 98-101, on Tuesday night at CenturyLink Arena.
Oklahoma City started the first quarter off strong with a 10-0 run in the first three minutes. Idaho came back in the second quarter with Brandon Fields scoring 11 of his 22 points within the first three minutes to give the Stampede a five-point lead. The Stampede gained momentum late in the third quarter jumping out to an 11-point lead with 3:36 left. Idaho remained in control of the game until late in the fourth when Oklahoma City tied the game, 95-95, with 3:28 left.
Idaho had five players score in double figures. Fields led the Stampede, recording a game-high 22 points. Bryce Dejean-Jones registered 18 points, five rebounds and two steals, while Jeremy Williams added 12 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three blocks. Jeff Ayres, who registered his ninth double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds, and Treveon Graham (11 points) combined for 22.
Oklahoma City had five players score with 10-or-more points. Dez Wells led the Blue, registering a team-high 19 points while Oklahoma City Thunder assignee Mitch McGary recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Idaho will travel to the Dignity Health Event Center on Tuesday, Jan. 4 to take on the Bakersfield Jam at 8 p.m. MT.
