Red Claws Acquire Davon Usher

PORTLAND, Maine - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, announce the acquisition of Davon Usher from the available player pool. Usher, a 6'6" shooting guard, has joined the Red Claws and will wear #14 for Maine.
Last season, Usher played overseas, playing 16 games for Keflavik (Iceland), averaging 23.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Also last season, Usher played five games for Roseto (Italy), averaging 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
Usher was the star of the University of Delaware Blue Hens for the 2013-14 season, averaging 21.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
The Red Claws return to action tomorrow for a New Year's Eve matinee against the Texas Legends. Maine then plays Saturday against Santa Cruz and Sunday against Delaware. All games will be played at the Portland Expo. Tickets are on sale now by calling 207-210-6655 or visiting MaineRedClaws.com.
