
Late Run Propels Blue Past Idaho

BOISE, Idaho - The Oklahoma City Blue topped the Idaho Stampede, 101-98, on Tuesday at CenturyLink Arena. Mitch McGary, on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder, produced his second-straight double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in 27 minutes.
Dez Wells shot 7-of-13 to lead the Blue's scoring efforts with 19 points. Dakari Johnson scored 17 points alongside eight rebounds and Marquis Teague tallied 17 points, five rebounds and five assists. Boubacar Moungoro added 12 points off the bench.
After the Blue outscored the Stampede 57-52 in the opening half, Idaho took the lead heading into the final quarter by holding the Oklahoma City to 17 points in the third period.
Trailing 92-80 midway through the fourth, Oklahoma City put together a 20-3 run in a four-minute span to go ahead 100-95 with 2:26 to play. The Blue held the Stampede to 1-of-5 shooting the remainder of the game to claim its second win over Idaho this week.
Wells shot 4-of-4 from the field and 3-of-3 from the charity stripe to score 12 points in the fourth and lead the Blue's comeback efforts.
Oklahoma City (4-13) pulled down 54 rebounds and blocked seven shots.
Idaho (5-14) was led by Brandon Fields with 22 points off the bench.
