SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have recalled guard Ray McCallum from the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League.
McCallum helped Austin beat the Santa Cruz Warriors last night in their first-ever game in San Antonio at the AT&T Center, tallying 13 points (5-10 FG, 2-3 3FG) with a team-high 9 assists and 3 steals in 35 minutes. He has now averaged 17.2 points, 5.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 38.0 minutes in six total appearances with the Austin Spurs this season.
The third-year guard is averaging 1.6 points and 1.2 rebounds in 7.1 minutes in 13 appearances this year with San Antonio.
