The Sharks close out the 3-in-3 weekend with a 3pm start vs. the Hersey Bears at the DCU Center on Sunday.

The Sharks broke a five game losing skid against the Bruins to finish the season series 6-3-0-3. Freddie Hamilton, Peter Sivak, Travis Oleksuk, Sebastian Stalberg, and Denny Urban all scored for Worcester while Harri Sateri made 28 saves in net in his 8th straight start. Matt Tennyson and John McCarthy added two assists in a game that saw only three minor penalties.

A quick moving first period saw no penalties and a goal from each side. Freddie Hamilton (9th) gave the Sharks a 1-0 lead at 16:09 after Yanni Gourde found him all alone in front of Hutchinson's crease. Hamilton wrapped the puck around a fallen Hutchinson after Matt Tennyson kept the puck in at the blue line. The Bruins tied the score late in the first period as Jamie Tardif (27th) sent a wicked snap shot from the center slot through a screen and past the glove of Harri Sateri at 19:17. Providence outshot Worcester 8-7 through 20 minutes of play.

The Sharks broke out to a 3-1 lead after Peter Sivak's (1st) first AHL goal at 3:33 followed by Travis Oleksuk (3rd) at 10:57 as the Sharks took the charge early. But the Bruins came barreling back to tie the score at 3-3. Carter Camper (7th) blasted a one timer at 16:04 and Torey Krug (10th) struck on the power play with 12 seconds left in the frame to set the score even through 40 minutes.

It took over 10 minutes for the Sharks to register a shot in the third period but they would grab their third lead of the game with a power play strike at 15:04 to take a 4-3 lead. Sebastian Stalberg (10th) fired a swing-a-rama shot from on top of the circles for the game winner and Denny Urban (4th) added insurance with a tough angle score past Hutchinson at 18:39. Harri Sateri was perfect in the third period with 11 saves for his 14th win of the season.
