Portland Pirates News Release
Portland, Maine - The Portland Pirates announced today that Playoff Strips are now on sale for current season ticket holders and sponsors for the 2013 Calder Cup Playoffs. The Pirates are currently in 5th place in the Eastern Conference with 75 points and are in pursuit of their second Calder Cup championship in their 20th anniversary season after winning the Cup in their inaugural 1993-94 season.
The 2013 Calder Cup playoffs will start the week of April 22, with schedules to be announced. The Pirates will play all playoff games at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland if they earn a playoff spot.
Playoff strips allow for current Pirates season ticket holders and sponsors to reserve seat locations for all 4 rounds of the Calder Cup Playoffs, a maximum of 15 games. Main and Quarter Deck strips start at $319 per seat, while Premium Deck strips start at $356 per seat. All playoff strips are refundable for home games not played, or balances may be applied to 2013-14 season tickets. Current season ticket holders also have the option to "Pay as We Play", which requires a $50 deposit and payment for each round as the team progresses. Current season ticket holders have until April 15th to reserve their playoff strips.
Season Tickets for the 2013-14 season are not available at this time.
Tickets are still available for the seven remaining Pirates regular season games at the Cumberland County Civic Center this season by calling (207) 828-4665 ext. 350 or online at ticketmaster.com.
