St. Louis Blues Reassign Goaltender Ville Husso to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong today announced that the club has reassigned goaltender Ville Husso to the San Antonio Rampage. Additionally, the Rampage have reassigned goaltender Joe Cannata and forward Julien Nantel to the Colorado Eagles (ECHL).

Husso has appeared in 35 games with the Rampage this season, posting a 14-12-5 record. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound goaltender ranks fourth in the AHL overall with a .927 save percentage and shares fifth with a 2.31 goals-against average. A native of Helsinki, Finland, Husso was originally drafted by the Blues in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Draft (94th overall).

Cannata has appeared in five games with the Rampage this season, recording a 1.84 goals-against average, .920 save percentage and one shutout. The Wakefield, Mass. native began the season with the Eagles, earning 19 wins in his 25 games played while registering a 2.16 goals-against average and ECHL-leading .933 save percentage.

Nantel has recorded eight points (6g/2a) in 48 contests with the Silver and Black, while adding 10 points (4g/6a) in 13 games with the Eagles this season.

The Silver and Black begin a two-game series against the Stockton Heat on Friday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
