Hurricanes Recall Foegele from Charlotte

RALEIGH, NC - The Carolina Hurricanes have recalled forward Warren Foegele (FOE-guhl) from the American Hockey League's (AHL) Charlotte Checkers, the team announced today.

Foegele, 21, has registered 42 points (26g, 16a) in 65 games with the Checkers this season. The 6'2", 190-pound forward ranks tied for seventh in the AHL in goals and ranks first among AHL rookies in goals. In addition, he ranks tied for first in the league in game-winning goals (8). Foegele represented the Atlantic Division at the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic and was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week on Oct. 10. Foegele was drafted by the Hurricanes in the third round, 67th overall, in the 2014 NHL Draft.
