Squadron Complete Season Sweep of Mexico City in 108-102 Overtime Thriller

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Malcolm Hill's three pointer with 0.3 seconds left in regulation sent Monday's 108-103 Birmingham Squadron victory at Mexico City to overtime before Jalen Crutcher made a layup to hit the target score and move Birmingham to 3-0 on the season.

The Squadron outscored the Capitanes 8-2 in the first-to-seven overtime period.

Center Trey Jemison recorded his first professional double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Crutcher led the Squadron in the scoring column with 18 points, including the game-winner.

Hill and E.J. Liddell each scored 16 on the night.

This marks the first time in team history that Birmingham has started a season 3-0.

The Squadron return home to Legacy Arena at the BJCC for Sunday's Sitcom Night game against the Texas Legends. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. and tickets are available at BirmingamSquadron.com.
