Bridgeport Islanders News Release
The Bridgeport Sound Tigers, coming off a three-game road trip, return to the Arena at Harbor Yard to for five consecutive home games, and will play eight of their next nine contests on home ice.

Country Night
There will be southern hospitality at the Arena for Country Night, featuring country music, a mechanical bull and other country-themed activities throughout the game. Fans will have an opportunity to test their bull-riding skills against those of various mascots, including hometown favorite, Storm.
Sunday, Feb. 11 vs. the Binghamton Senators, 1 p.m. The Youth Hockey Shootout will put some of the state's best young goal-scorers and goaltenders in the spotlight during tourney semifinals and championship rounds on Sound Tiger ice.
Wool Ski Hat Day on Hold
Please note that Wool Ski Hat Day, originally planned for Feb. 11, has been postponed to a future date to be determined.

Pregame Skate and Hockey Card Set No. 2 Giveaway
Arrive early and bring your skates for a special school vacation week pregame skate on Sound Tiger ice. The ice will be open from 5-6 p.m. (Please bring your own skates as rentals will not be provided.)
The Sound Tigers hockey card set includes images and statistics of Robert Nilsson, Mark Wotton, Blake Comeau and Trent Hunter. The giveaway is sponsored by Integrated Rehabilitation Services.

In the community
Sound Tiger players and mascot Storm are out and about in the community. On Tuesday, Feb. 6, players are scheduled to read to students at Unquowa School in Fairfield and will hit the ice with the Greater Bridgeport Junior Youth Hockey Association's Gulls to offer pointers during their practice at the Rinks at Shelton.

Weekly recap
The Sound Tigers salvaged the final game of a three-game weekend road trip by overcoming an early 2-0 deficit for a 5-3 win at Providence on Sunday. Steve Regier scored the eventual winning goal, Petteri Nokelainen had two goals and Eric Boguniecki earned three assists in the win. Goaltender Billy Thompson made 43 saves including 19 in the opening period. The Sound Tigers lost 6-2 in Worcester on Friday and 5-1 at Portland on Saturday. The Sound Tigers were without leading scorer Jeff Tambellini and linemate Frans Nielse, who were called up to the National Hockey League parent club New York Islanders, for the weekend. Defenseman Drew Fata suited up for his first NHL action on Sunday after being called up by the Isles.
In the standings: The Sound Tigers are 21-20-1-4, and currently hold the fourth and final playoff spot in the East Division. The Sound Tigers are two points ahead of the Albany River Rats and have one game in hand.
