
Monarchs Recall Hiebert, Assign Him To Phoenix

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have recalled right wing James Hiebert from the ECHL's Reading Royals and assigned him to the ECHL's Phoenix Roadrunners, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.
Hiebert, 24, has played in six games with the Monarchs this season, recording 16 penalty minutes. The 5-foot-10, 195-pound native of Hay River, Northwest Territories, has 24 points (13-11=24) and 160 penalty minutes in 40 games with the Royals this season. In 178 games with the Central Hockey Leagues' Laredo Bucks from 2003-06, Hiebert collected 176 points (57-119=176) and 703 penalty minutes.
