The Wolf Pack had only one game on the schedule last week, and it ended up being just their second regulation loss in a span of 15 games (12-2-1-0), as they dropped a 2-1 decision to defending Calder Cup-champion Hershey Friday night at the Hartford Civic Center. Captain Craig Weller scored the Pack's only goal in the game, and Al Montoya absorbed just his second loss in his last 11 decisions (9-2-0).

This week:

Three Atlantic-Division road games face the Pack this week, starting Wednesday night at Providence (7:05). That is followed by a rare back-to-back set at Springfield. The Wolf Pack and Falcons will face off at the MassMutual Center Friday evening at 7:35 and Saturday night at 7:05.

Tuesday, February 6 - "Wolf Pack Confidential" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue on ESPN Radio 1410

The Wolf Pack's weekly hour-long Tuesday-night talk show returns to Little Mark's Big Barbecue in Avon, with Assistant Coach Ken Gernander and defenseman Jake Taylor as scheduled guests. Wolf Pack Confidential airs live from 7-8 PM and Little Mark's is located at 279 West Main St. (Rt. 44) in Avon. Fans are invited to be on hand at Little Mark's for the show, and the guests will be taking questions from the live audience. The show can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1410 and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.

Wednesday, February 7 at Providence (Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence), 7:05 p.m.

The Bruins (26-20-1-3, 56 pts.) have lost their last two games, but were red-hot before that, with five straight wins and at least a standings point in 10 consecutive contests (9-0-0-1).

Providence saw its leading point and goal-scorer, rookie Kris Versteeg (22-27-49 in 43 GP), traded to Chicago this past weekend, in exchange for Brandon Bochenski.

The Wolf Pack are 2-3-0-0 in this year's season series with the Bruins, but the Pack won the only previous clash in Providence, 3-2 on November 24.

Friday, February 9 at Springfield (MassMutual Center), 7:35 p.m.

The Wolf Pack are 3-2-0-0 in the DATTCO I-91 Challenge series against the Falcons, and the two teams have split two earlier meetings at the MassMutual Center.

Springfield (22-27-0-2, 46 pts.) has fallen into last place in the Atlantic Division, after losing seven straight (0-6-0-1) and going 2-11-0-1 in its last 14 outings.

The Falcons are the lowest-scoring team in the AHL, averaging 2.37 goals per game, but leading scorer Eric Healey is seventh in the league in points, with 22-32-54 in 51 games.

Rookie goaltender Karri Ramo is 1-2-0 in the season series against the Wolf Pack, but has a 1.68 goals-against average and a 96.2% save percentage in those three games.
