Wolf Pack Recall Corey Potter from Charlotte

Hartford, February 5, 2007: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has recalled defenseman Corey Potter to the Wolf Pack from the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL.

In 43 games with Charlotte so far this season, Potter registered six goals and 13 assists for 19 points, along with 56 penalty minutes. The 23-year-old blueliner spent the last four seasons skating with the Michigan State Spartans, where he played in a total of 150 games, scoring a total of 8 goals and 36 assists for 44 points and registering 283 penalty minutes.

Three Atlantic-Division road games face the Pack this week, starting Wednesday night at Providence (7:05). That is followed by a rare back-to-back set of DATTCO I-91 Challenges at Springfield. The Wolf Pack and Falcons will face off at the MassMutual Center Friday evening at 7:35 and Saturday night at 7:05.
