
Sound Tigers Sign Joel Martin to PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Connan. 5, 2010) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced this morning that they have signed goaltender Joel Martin to a professional tryout contract (PTO).
Martin, 28, began the season with the Sound Tigers before being released from a PTO on Oct. 18 . The Fort Worth, TX native comes to the Sound Tigers from the Odessa Jackalopes of the Central Hockey League where he's amassed a 10-9-0 record this season with a 3.61 GAA and a .888 SV%. Martin was the starting goaltender for the Sound Tigers 3-2 preseason loss to the Hershey Bears on Oct. 3 at Giant Center.
