(Rochester, NY)... Members of the Rochester Americans will take over the city's east side on Monday, January 24th as they team up with McArdle's restaurant (1355 Fairport Rd.) to help raise funds for Perinton Youth Hockey and other minor youth hockey programs. McArdle's is a proud sponsor of the Amerks this season.

Fans can meet their favorite Amerks players, meet members of the dance team and exchange high-fives with The Moose at the Fairport eatery from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Fourth-year pro Kenndal McArdle will pay homage to the McArdle's name with a special guest appearance, in addition to visits from other Amerks including defenseman Paul Baier and forward PJ Fenton, to name a few. Additional players attending the function will be announced at a later time.

"I have been impressed with the Amerks' eagerness to partner with local businesses in support of our community," said McArdle's owner John Albert. "McArdle's Restaurant is excited about teaming with the Amerks and Perinton Youth Hockey to support area youth. This should be a fantastic event."

The fun-filled event features the players trading in their jerseys for aprons and mingling with their guests. Over the course of the night, the players and dance team members will take on various roles from greeting and hosting to waiting and serving. A select portion of all tips and generated revenue that evening will be donated by McArdle's to Perinton Youth Hockey.

Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to win an assortment of raffle items, including Amerks game tickets, T-shirts, winter hats, window clings, team magazines, prize packages and other team memorabilia, with all proceeds benefitting PYH. The featured raffle items include an autographed game-used stick and an authentic game-worn jersey.
