
Sound Tigers Sign Adduono

BRIDGEPORT, CT â The American Hockey League's 2001-02 Regular Season Champion and Eastern Conference Playoff Champion Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the signing of Left Wing Jeremy Adduono.
Adduono, 24, played for the AHL's Rochester Americans the past three seasons. The 6'0'' 185-pound native of Thunder Bay, Ontario posted 15 goals, 20 assists, 35 points and 38 penalty minutes in 79 games with the "Amerks" last season. He was the seventh pick, 184th overall, of the Buffalo Sabres in the 1997 NHL draft.
Adduono is scheduled to be in the lineup when the Sound Tigers face the Providence Bruins tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. at the Arena at Harbor Yard to open at three-game homestand.
