
Wolves Serve Up $12,000 for Special Olympics

The Chicago Wolves will donate $12,000 to the Special Olympics raised at the fifth annual 'Get Fed by the Wolves' event at Max & Erma's in Woodridge on Sun., Nov. 24. Funds were raised by silent and live auctions; a raffle; reservation fees and players tips.
Among the top fund-raising items were T-shirts worn by the Wolves players during their brief stints as waiters. The tee donned by Wolves defenseman Dallas Eakins fetched the top price of $700, and shirts worn by centers Ben Simon and Dan Snyder combined for $625.
The Wolves have raised more than $60,000 for various charities across the event's five-year history.
