Sound Tigers Release Three from PTO's

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Dec. 19, 2011) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced Monday that defenseman Wes Cunningham and forwards Kael Mouillierat and Tyler Ruegsegger have been released from their professional tryout contracts.

Cunningham appeared in the first two of the Sound Tigers' three road games this weekend and did not record a point. He returns to the Greenville Road Warriors of the East Coast Hockey League where he shows one goal and nine assists in 18 games this season.

Mouillierat signed his PTO with the Sound Tigers this past Friday and played in all three games this weekend, recording an assist in the Sound Tigers 6-3 loss to the Whale on Dec. 16. The Edmonton, AB native returns to the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL where he's posted 11 goals and 12 assists in 24 games this year.

Ruegsegger joined the team on Dec. 9, appeared in four games during his stint with the Sound Tigers and did not record a point. The Lakewood, CO native returns to the Alaska Aces of the ECHL where he's notched eight goals and seven assists in 22 games this season.
