Jets Re-Assign Jaffray to IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have re-assigned forward Jason Jaffray to the St. John's IceCaps.

Jaffray, 30, played in 13 games with the Jets since his recall on Nov. 13/11. During that time, the left winger recorded one assist and seven penalty minutes. Jaffray started the season in 15 games with the St. John's IceCaps where he has recorded 12 points (7G, 5A) in 15 games.

The Olds, AB native was named the captain of Winnipeg's AHL affiliate at the beginning of the season. Jaffray has now played in 49 career NHL games with Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg scoring 11 points (4G, 7A) while accumulating 40 penalty minutes.
