Flames Recall Byron

Abbotsford Heat News Release


Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled forward Paul Byron from the Abbotsford Heat (AHL) .

The Heat departed for its final two games prior to Christmas break today, flying into Grand Rapids to prepare for their final game with the Griffins in Michigan. Detroit's affiliate will host the Heat on Wednesday before the Western outfit busses to Chicago for their final pre-holiday game against the Wolves (Vancouver Canucks).

Puck drop on Wednesday is at 4:00 PST while Thursday's game begins at 5:00 PM. Pre-game shows start fifteen minutes prior to puck drop for both on Country 107.1 in Abbotsford, online at theAHL.com and on the Rogers Radio App by streaming Country 107.1. Thursday's game is also being broadcasted on Shaw from Whistler to Hope.
