Crunch Announce Roster Move

Syracuse, NY (December 19, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have assigned defenseman Nate Guenin to the Crunch.

Guenin, 29, has appeared in nine games with the Ducks this season, scoring one goal in the Ducks season debut in Helsinki, Finland. Prior to his recall on November 15, Guenin appeared in 10 games with the Crunch this year, recording two points and 10 penalty minutes. Guenin was named Crunch captain at the start of this season after appearing in 43 games with the team during the 2010-11 campaign. A 2002 fourth round draft pick by the New York Rangers, Guenin was acquired by the Ducks via a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets in January 2011.

The Crunch travel to Hershey on Wednesday, Dec. 21 and return home for a tilt against the Springfield Falcons on December 28.
