Sound Tigers Release Labelle from PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn (Feb. 8, 2011) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced Tuesday that they have released forward Olivier Labelle from his professional tryout contract (PTO).

Labelle signed his first PTO with the Sound Tigers on Nov. 19, 2010. The St. Eustache, P.Q. native recorded three goals and two assists over 34 games including two game-winning goals. His 74 penalty minutes ranked second on the Sound Tigers behind Micheal Haley's total of 144. Labelle returns to the Reading Royals of the ECHL where he shows eight goals and two assists in 13 games this season.
