Canucks Re-Assign Bolduc to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, today announced they have re-assigned forward Alexandre Bolduc to the Moose.

Bolduc, 25, has played in 19 games so far this season for the Canucks before suffering a shoulder injury on Jan. 14/11 @ Washington. He scored his first NHL goal on Jan. 2/11 @ Colorado and has also collected two assists for three points and 19 penalty minutes. During his previous stint this season in Manitoba, the Montreal, PQ native appeared in two games with the Moose after being re-assigned on Dec. 2/10. Bolduc has appeared in 41 career NHL games with Vancouver where he's collected four points (1g, 3a) and 36 penalty minutes. Bolduc has also played in 209 career AHL games with the Moose over the course of his six-year pro career. In that span, he's scored 92 points (39g, 53a) and collected 299 penalty minutes. He was awarded the team's Unsung Hero Award in 2008. He has also played in 24 career Calder Cup playoff games with Manitoba where he's scored 10 points (6g, 4a) and 28 penalty minutes.

Bolduc was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round, 127th overall, of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
