Houston Aeros News Release
The Houston Aeros play four times this week with all four games away from Toyota Center. One of the games is technically a home contest; Sunday ¬â¢s matchup vs. Peoria is at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., the home of the Minnesota Wild, Houston ¬â¢s NHL parent club. The Aeros enter this week ¬â¢s games tied for second in the both the West Division and Western Conference with 62 points. The Aeros have been one of the AHL ¬â¢s hottest teams, winning eight of their last 10 games and 11 of 14 overall. The Aeros also have the AHL ¬â¢s second-longest home points streak. Houston has is 8-0-0-1 since Dec. 26 on home ice.
LAST WEEK
The Aeros resumed play after the AHL All-Star break with a 4-1 win over the Texas Stars at home on Friday.
