Sound Tigers Promotions Offer Fun For All

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the New York Islanders, offer a variety of fan-friendly promotional giveaways and activities at games throughout the season - including Kids Opening Day, Santa Claus Night, the New Haven Nighthawks Reunion, hockey card and bobble-head giveaways and the annual player jersey auction.

Sunday, Nov. 5 vs. Hartford at 4 p.m. is Kids Opening Day and Storm's Birthday. Children's activities will be offered and mascots from other teams and organizations will celebrate Storm's birthday. Wednesday, Nov. 15 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 11 a.m. is Kool Fun 101 Day - An educationally themed morning of hockey and trivia for school children. The annual Teddy Bear Toss, sponsored by the WICC Holiday Children's Fund in conjunction with AMR, is on Sunday, Dec. 17 when the Sound Tigers host Norfolk at 4 p.m. Fans who dress in full Santa outfits for Santa Day on Saturday, Dec. 23 when the Sound Tigers take on Manchester at 7 p.m., will be admitted for free. Nighthawks fans will get a chance to see former Nighthawks players and game footage from the team on Sunday, Jan. 14 when the Sound Tigers battle Providence at 1 p.m.
