BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators will demonstrate their artistic capabilities on Thursday, Oct. 26 as the players will participate in "Making Magic with the BSENS," a Magic Paintbrush Project workshop. The event will be held at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., and is an invite only event.
The Magic Paintbrush Project provides a unique facilitated art experience for the special needs community and their families. Using art materials for fun, participants accomplish their therapeutic goals as their therapists, educators and physicians suggest with a fun and unique alternative method.
The Magic Paintbrush Project provides an opportunity to combine art materials, volunteers, artists, and facilitated activities where "coloring outside the lines" is encouraged.
We provide support, tools, and the materials for an experience, which compliments current rehabilitative regimens while inspiring and celebrating "abilities" and not "disabilities" of the special needs community and those who serve them.
