
Hartigan Assigned to Crunch

Syracuse, NY (October 24, 2006) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned center Mark Hartigan to Syracuse.
Hartigan, 29, appeared in six games with the Blue Jackets this season, recording one goal and two assists. Last season Hartigan led the Crunch in points (75), goals (34), power play goals (17) and game-winning goals (9). In 242 career AHL games, Hartigan has tallied 103 goals, 123 assists and 282 penalty minutes. A native of Fort St. John, British Columbia, Hartigan was resigned by Columbus on August 22, 2005.
The Crunch host the Amerks on Friday, October 27 and the Senators on Saturday, October 28.
