Crunch to Hold Auditions for Crunch Ice Girls

Syracuse, NY (October 24, 2006) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they will hold additional auditions for the inaugural Crunch Ice Girls on Thursday, November 2 at 6 p.m. in Manlius Room in the Conference Center at the Marx Hotel.

Applicants must bring their own music and a one minute routine that will demonstrate their dancing and gymnastic abilities. (Ice skating, formal dance and gymnastics are not mandatory but extremely beneficial.)

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to audition. Interested applicants must wear a two-piece dance outfit in good taste and sneakers or dance shoes. No jewelry except engagement/wedding rings are to be worn. Make-up and hair must be performance ready.

There is no fee for the audition. Legal photo identification must be presented in order to participate. (Compensation and time requirements will be discussed at the audition.)

The Crunch Ice Girls are being formed to enhance the experience of a Crunch home game by assisting with one and off-ice promotions and interaction with the fans.

The Crunch host the Amerks on Friday, October 27 and the Senators on Saturday, October 28.
