
Soshnikov Assigned to Rampage

San Antonio Rampage News Release
GRAND RAPIDS, MI - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced on Friday that the Blues have assigned forward Nikita Soshnikov to the San Antonio Rampage.
Soshnikov, 25, appeared in five games earlier this season with the Rampage during a conditioning assignment, tallying a goal and two penalty minutes. The Nizhny Tagil, Russia native has also dressed in five games for St. Louis this season.
The 5-foot-11 forward has appeared in 82 AHL games and 87 NHL games over the past four seasons. With the Toronto Marlies and the Rampage, Soshnikov has totaled 27 goals and 49 points. With the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blues, he has notched eight goals and 16 points.
Soshnikov has also played in 90 career games in the KHL in Russia, tallying 16 goals and 37 points and last playing there during the 2014-15 season.
The Rampage begin a four-game road trip on Friday night at Van Andel Arena against the Grand Rapids Griffins, with puck-drop scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on The Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
