Isotopes 7 (48-62), Chihuahuas 3 (43-67) - RGCU Field at Isotopes Park | Albuquerque, NM

AT THE DISH: Taylor Snyder, Nick Longhi and Alan Trejo combined to drive in all seven of Albuquerque's runs Friday ... Snyder hit a two-run homer in the second, his eighth at Triple-A and 26th overall this season ... Longhi's three-run blast in the sixth was his first since July 1 and gave the Isotopes the lead for good ... Trejo delivered a two-run double in the seventh, his 30th two-bagger of the year with Albuquerque ... Snyder had two hits as did Elehuris Montero, who has four multi-hit games in his first eight Triple-A contests.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Starting pitcher Dereck Rodríguez delivered one of his strongest performances in 2021, allowing five hits and two runs (one earned) in 5.1 innings ... Jairo Díaz gave up a run in his first outing with Albuquerque since May 13 ... Reagan Todd and Nate Griep shut the door with a scoreless inning of relief apiece.

TOPES TIDBITS: Albuquerque stole three bases in a game for the first time this season ... This marks the latest date the Isotopes have won a contest (previous was 9/8/12, playoffs vs. Omaha) ... Each of the last two games have lasted 2:56, despite Thursday's nightcap being a seven-inning contest.

ON DECK: The Isotopes and Chihuahuas will play Saturday at 12:05 PM. There will be a pre-game ceremony commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Hats will be given to the first 3,000 fans, presented by AARP. Probable starters are right-hander Frank Duncan (4-2, 4.25) for the hosts against El Paso southpaw Daniel Camarena (3-5, 4.76).
