Notes: Entering the game with a three-game losing streak, the Snappers got back on track with a 5-3 win over the West Michigan Whitecaps Wednesday night. Beloit got two runs of their own in the bottom of the third on two hits and two Whitecap errors. Andrew Schmiesing and Mark Dolenc each scored for the Snaps who found themselves up 2-1 after three innings.

After West Michigan tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the fourth, the Snappers answered right back with three in the bottom half.

The big blast of the inning came in the form of a Deibinson Romero solo homer to left. Romero and the Snappers took a 5-2 lead after four innings.

The game remained 5-2 until the top of the ninth inning when West Michigan would make things interesting.

West Michigan scored once off Beloit's Chris Anderson to draw to within two, but the lefty was able to get himself out of trouble.

With two outs and a runner on second, Anderson struck out the final batter of the able to notch his second save of the season and give the Snaps the 5-3 victory.

Deibinson Romero and Mark Dolenc each collected two hits for the Snappers, who improved to 15-10 in the second half.
