With a 7-2 victory over the Clinton LumberKings Saturday night at Pohlman Field the Snappers and LumberKings are now tied for the final playoff spot.
Martire Garcia (1-0) picked up his first win as a Snapper as he went five plus innings while striking out eight batters and only gave up one earned one.
The Snappers held on to a one run lead as the offense exploded for five runs in the seventh with the highlight coming from a double by James Beresford that scored Reggie Williams.
Eighth round pick out of the University of Kentucky Lance Ray is now batting .292 as he went 3-for-4 at the dish.
The "Brodie Trophy Player of the Game" is Danny Rams who went 3-for-4 with two RBI's and two runs scored with a solo homerun which gives Rams the team high of 14 bombs.
