SnapperPalooza Returns
August 8, 2006 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Beloit Sky Carp News Release
SnapperPalooza returns to Pohlman Field Sunday, September 3 thanks to Charter On Demand. The Snappers host the Peoria Chiefs at 5:00, gates will open at 4:00. Following the game "The Orphans" will perform on the main concourse. The night will end with the final fireworks show of the season.
The 5:00 game is the second to last game of the regular season and could factor in the Midwest League Playoff seedings. The Snappers are still in playoff contention and this could be a preview of the first round or possible second round match up since the Chiefs have already secured a playoff berth.
The concert that follows the game will be put on by "The Orphans". They have been around for 16 years and play many different cover songs. They played in the Atrium of Lambeau Field before every Packer home game in 2005. For more information on The Orphans visit their website at www.theorphans.com.
The fireworks show will then follow the concert, sponsored by Charter On Demand. SnapperPalooza t-shirts will be available for purchase in the Snappers gift shop.
